Fire crews quickly snuff out 2-alarm fire at Oregon City transfer station
[6/30/2008] - Clackamas Fire District #1 responded to a fire at 2001 Washington Street in Oregon City at 1:01 a.m. on Monday. The fire was burning inside the South Metro Transfer Station dump pit. An alert security guard noticed the smoke and found a large fire burning in the pit. He quickly called 911. First arriving crews were met with heavy black smoke pouring from the large warehouse-type building. link
