[12/30/2008] - Sprinklers contained an electrical fire to a mattress Tuesday morning at Art Van Furniture in Jackson. Firefighters from Jackson and surrounding townships responded to the fire alarm at 8:30 a.m. to find the store at 950 N. West Ave. filled with smoke. A sprinkler triggered by heat had already doused the flames, a fire official said. link
